Kerala Model is India's Pride- Goverenor apreciated Kerala

   The country celebrated the 73rd Republic Day aptly despite the covid threat. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan praised Kerala in his Republic Day address. In his address, he said that the country should make Kerala a model for development and that Kerala model development is essential for the overall development of the country as a whole.

   As the largest democracy in the world, we are moving forward with steps to ensure justice, equality and unity in the country and our determination to resist any kind of threat. The governor said during the state celebrations on the occasion of the country's 73rd Republic Day.

   Despite the outbreak of the covid epidemic, the country has shown extraordinary resistance, capability, and the breadth of coordination and leadership in all areas. He said that the spirit of our patriotism and pride is boundless in our journey to the heights of prosperity and power.

   In his address after inspecting the Republic Day Parade at the Central Stadium, Thiruvanathapuram, the Governor wished the citizens a sincere commitment to uphold constitutional values ​​and ensure the welfare of their fellow citizens. He said the country needs to be able to achieve equal opportunities for all and higher levels of self-sufficiency and progress.

   Praising the achievements of the nation and the State of Kerala in various fields, the Governor appealed to all to take this opportunity to remember with gratitude the contributions made by all who worked for the development of the Kingdom and to pay tribute to the martyrs who were martyred while preserving our freedom and sovereignty.

   The Governor said that the country is still on the threshold of 'Amrit Kal', the era of comprehensive development announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which celebrates 75 years of our independence. He opined that the decision of the state government to set up special courts to hear cases related to dowry abuse and violence against women was a manifestation of its firm determination to eradicate such practices as dowry and ensure gender equality.

   I am confident that by building a strong network of high quality educational and research institutions in Kerala, we can help achieve the national dream of making India the knowledge hub of the world as envisioned in the National Education Policy. The event was held at the Thiruvanathapuram Central Stadium and was attended by people's representatives and senior government officials following covid protocols.Various state ministers were present at the Republic Day celebrations held at all the district headquarters.
