The new version sporty car from the
carmaker Honda is ready for its launch soon. The new Honda Jazz updated version
will be officially presented in the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car will be presented with a brand new
Sporty look and Dynamic grades with a new 1.5-litre, 130 PS petrol engine
option. The bookings for the new model are expected to start from November in
Europe. The details about the booking in India are not declared yet. The 2017
Frankfurt Motor Show is scheduled from September 14.
The exterior changes made in the new Jazz
look stunning as the latest Honda family style. It holds the special Solid
Wing Face headlight signature and grille. The front bumper is sharply sculpted.
In the rear side of the vehicle a shallower grille sections are linked by a glossy
black trim strip above a trapezoid lower section. The exterior of the Honda
Jazz is decorated in a metallic Skyride Blue as a new color option.
As per the reports the new Jazz will be
available with a 1.5 litre, 130PS i-VTEC petrol engine option at the time of
release. The new motor will be offered only with the Sport and the Dynamic
trims, while rest of the variants will continue with the current options including
the features like 1.3-litre, 102 PS petrol. The new 130PS motor provided with
stringent the emission standards and claims a fuel economy of 22.2 kmpl with
the optional CVT automatic transmission. The CVT system has also been revised
to deliver a more linear and refined response under acceleration.
The new dynamic grade provides a thinner
front splitter beneath the lower grille, and triple strake reducer to the rear
bumper both finished with a sporty red accent line. It also includes LED
headlights, front fog lamps, side sill skirts, a tailgate spoiler and
gloss-black 185/55 R16 alloy wheels. The interior features a unique
pinstripe pattern on the upholstery and a leather wrapped steering wheel and
gear knob, all of which are enhanced by orange stitching with extra shine.
The Honda Jazz includes amazing cruise
control, automatic headlights and the advanced brake active safety system. The important
other features are a 7 inch Honda Connect infotainment system, rear view
parking camera, key less entry and start, as well as advanced safety
technologies such as Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and
Traffic Sign Recognition.
The new look Honda Jazz will be available
to order from November across Europe, with deliveries starting in early 2018. Its
launching in India is not yet decided. It will compete with the Maruti
Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and the Volkswagen Polo.
