The famous and biggest software company in
US, Adobe Systems Incorporated in a milestone step taken last day announced
that they are ready equalize the wages of men and women belonging to the company
and planned to end the gender gap in salary drawn to employees of the company
mainly in the countries like the US and India by the end of this year 2017. As
per the reports the company is aimed to promote diversity and inclusion in the job
field.
This innovative decision was officially
declared by the company in the annual Adobe - Women and Leadership Summit
held in San Jose city.
The company Adobe
Systems Incorporated announced that they are fully planned to stop the gender
wage gap in the US as soon as possible especially in US by the end of its
fiscal year in such a condition that women get paid USD 1.00 for every USD 1.00
that was earned by the man. An official of the company says that also there is
no wage gap between white and non white employees in US which was announced in
the last year.
As per the company reports Indian female
employees belonging to the company was paid mostly 99 percent equal amount for
the same job as the male got and the company will reduce the one percent
through this new project.
As per the company it is not fair to pay
and equal consideration has a significant positive impact on the business
bottom line. The company is planning to become a zero gender inequality firm in
future globally. Adobe's US and India employee populations combined comprise 80
per cent of the company's global workforce.
