The big giant in motor cycle industry Ducati India has announced the launch of its their Super Sport bike on September 22. Along with this announcement the company has already started taking bookings for the upcoming model and deliveries may begin soon after the official launching of the bike.
The new model may have two variants named as the standard and SuperSport S. Both the models are expected to hit the Indian market and become a good competitor to its similar models. As per the reports the average price of the model will be starting from around 11.5 lakhs. Reports says thst the new model of Ducati may not be a super sport motorcycle like the Panigale or BMW S 1000 RR. But it is expected that the new model is a daily superbike with a bit of a relaxed riding posture.

Powering the motorcycle is the same 937cc engine with Testastretta L-Twin which also propels the Multistrada 950 and the Hypermotard 939. It has a six speed transmission, the motor provIdes a power of 110 PS and it delivers a peak torque of 93 nm. The peak torque kicks in at 6500 rpm. The Super Sport S also provides the same relaxed state of tuning as users expecting. The bike also have some advanced features which includes a quick shifter which allows aggressive gearshifts.
In the new model of Ducati there may have three riding modes in both the standard and SuperSport S variants . One of which limits power output down to as much as 75 PS and the ride by wire promises an instant throttle response to the rider. The other major features include fully adjustable suspension setup, high-performance Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres and brakes with Brembo M4 32 monoblock callipers, Bosch 9 MP ABS and the Ducati Traction Control by the company itself.
