India Beat Sri Lanka By 7 Wickets In The One-off T 20 Match

     In the one-off T 20 match between India and Sri Lanka, India beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets held at Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. India won the toss and let the opponents to bat first. Sri Lanka has scored 170 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. By chasing a score of 171, India scored 174 runs for 3 wickets in 19.2 overs.  

     The play makers Virat Kohli (82) and Manish Pandey (51*) added 119 runs in the third wicket partnership which helps India to have a fantastic series win against Sri Lanka comfortably. After the one-off T 20 match India has completed the tour with a lead of 9-0 as they beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the match.

     In the match the Sri Lanka have a good start and the top scorers are Dilshan Munaweera(53) and Ashan Priyanjan(40) and they made a comparatively good score 170 with loss of 7 wickets. By  Chasing the 171 run target, India lost openers early but run under pressure on a brilliant stand between Virat Kohli and Manish Pandey to make win over Sri Lanka. Kohli was out after scoring a 54 ball 82 but Manish Pandey stayed there till the end and hit his maiden fifty in the 20-20 format in the process. Earlier, spinners did a fine job for the visitors after Munaweera hit the ball to all parts of the park during his breezy 53. This is a staggering result for India as they return home without any defeat. The Virat Kohli led unit earlier beat Sri Lanka 3-0 and 5-0 in Test and ODI series respectively.
