Kannur University invited application for degree courses.Share for dear ones



     The Kannur University has invited fresh applications from students who completed plus two course Under Graduate Degree Programmes under Choice Based Credit and Semester (CBCS) system in Government, Aided  and Self Financing Affiliated Colleges for the academic year 2018-2019.
       The University will not planning to  conduct online centralized allotment for the following Degree Programmes Courses. The candidates who are willing to apply for the same need to be apply directly to the colleges providing such courses.
      All programmes for which Entrance Test and Aptitude tests where conducted for admissions like B.P.Ed, B.A.Music(Karnatic), B.A. Bharathanatyam. Also B.A. Afsal-Ul-Ulama course is not included under the CAP for the time being. Students applying for B.Com. with Computer Application programme at the Marthoma College for the Hearing Impaired, Kasaragod is exempted from the CAP. They should directly contact the college for admission with relevant certificates.
     Candidates seeking admission on passing Save a year examination during the current Academic Year may register online before the Supplementary allotment. They will be considered in the supplementary allotment. The maximum age limit for admission to the UG programme shall be 23 years as on 1st June of the academic year. For SC/ST candidates, the age limit is 25 years and differently abled candidates it is 28 years.

     The candidates  Sports Quota candidates should also register through online before the closure of registration date. The student should submit printout of the application to the Physical Education Department of the concerned college with a request.
      The Physical Education Department of the colleges will prepare a rank list as per the University norms. The rank list should be published in the college notice board for the referance of the students redressal before a minimum of three days for the final publication of the rank list. The final list shall be forwarded to the University for approval and admissions will be made after obtaining the approval of the University. Registration fee is rupees 400 for General/OBC candidates and for SC/ST candidates it is rupees 250. The fee has to be remitted only through SBI Collect.
