Moral interventions are not required when two people are living together, married or not

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ruled that there is no need for moral interference in two adult couples living together, whether married or not. Justice Nandita Dubey was hearing a habeas corpus petition filed by Gulzar Khan, a native of Jabalpur.

The petition sought the release of the wife, who was being held captive by the family. According to the petition, his wife converted to Islam of her own free will. Gulzar's wife was produced in court by the family via video conference. The court directed the authorities to take steps to release Gulzar's wife. The important verdict in such cases has now come.
